Farmers' Market Coordinator

Farm Fresh would like to extend a warm welcome to Katharine Smithies, our new market coordinator at Nathan Phillips Square, City Hall, Toronto.

Bob & I both thoroughly enjoyed talking with Katharine during her job interview. She is very personable and brings may talents to the job. Katharine is bilingual in both French and English, she has taken 1 year of culinary management at George Brown College and is currently attending Ryerson Polytechnic University, School of Social Work. Along with her schooling and our Farmers’ Market, she also works part time as a Neurofeedback Trainer, at the Attention Deficit Neurofeedback Centre.

Katharine is currently living in Downsview, but her roots are in agriculture. Her family are farmers and trappers as far back as they go in Severn Bridge and Washago.

We’re looking forward to a great summer full of Wonderful Wednesdays!

P.S. If any vendors decide they want counselling on the

side, they’ll have to pay extra! o
