About Us (revision)

Springridge Farm is located on the side of the Niagara Escarpment in Milton, Ontario. The Hughes family purchased the farm in 1960 and grew 50 acres of sour cherries, which were processed on the lower level of the century-old barn.

Springridge has since evolved into a wonderful destination for visitors of all ages! In the barn market, we offer a collection of preserves made on-site, specialty foods, home-made baked goods, gifts and home decor items, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

The Fun Farm Yard is an exciting, educational area for families to explore and play. Actitivities include a giant sandbox, farm animals, corn trails, straw bale pyramid, Escarpment lookout, antique tractors and daily wagon rides.

Springridge hosts enaging, curriculum based school tours. The themed tours offer students the chance to learn and have fun in our outdoor classroom. We also organize weekend birthday parties where all activities are farm related!

Our festivals allow us to celebrate the seasons with our visitors. At Springridge, families can enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt with the Bunny, Strawberry Season, Harvest Festival and Christmas Open House.

The Hughes family has been a part of Milton’s heritage for over half a century.
